Corby and Kim Clauss bought a construction machinery company in Eureka, IL in 2003. The small company, Henry Dick, Inc., had been manufacturing construction equipment add-ons since the early 1960s. Clauss Specialties took a handful of items that Henry Dick, Inc. was still building and moved forward from there, revising and expanding. In 2011 they added retail sales on to their manufacturing services, catering to Governmental entities such as County, City, and Townships. After numerous moves and building additions, Clauss Specialties settled into their new building and location in Cissna Park, IL.
